About the Project:
The school campus is a well maintained building with manicured grounds and decorative ceilings as this is a historic building featuring the original style copper roof sheets and gutters.
The Problem:
The copper downpipe which collects water from the roof had a leaking joint where the new pvc pipe joined the existing copper pipe which is now encased in a wall and not accessible. This was leaking from when it was originally installed, as it was a slow leak it took a long time to find the problem.
How We Fixed It:
Due to the decorative column replacing the pipe was not an option, To repair the pipe we gained access to the roof top and inserted a sectional reline to seal the defected joint. The work was completed in 1/2 a day with no disturbance to the students.
